The 22nd Adaptation to Technical Progress (ATP) of the CLP Regulation brings new rules for the labeling of chemicals. Coming into force on October 20, 2024, this ATP will be binding until May 2026 and will include new hazard classes and updated H and P phrases. Particularly important are changes to the classification of endocrine disruptors and new specifications for hazard symbols. The adjustments will help companies to better meet the requirements for the safe labeling of hazardous substances and comply with current legal regulations.
Companies that label hazardous substances must comply with the CLP Regulation and its ATPs. BOXLAB's CLP-compliant labels offer the opportunity to comply with all current regulations and support companies that want to create and print labels in accordance with the specifications on their own responsibility. For example, the 22nd ATP requires the classification of new substances and changes to H and P phrases, as well as more precise labeling of endocrine disruptors. By adapting the labeling, these labels meet the latest requirements.
With the regular updating of the CLP Regulation by ATPs, such as the 22nd ATP in October 2024, companies are obliged to adapt their labels for chemical products. Among other things, the new adjustments affect specific substance groups and improve the clarity of pictograms. BOXLAB supports companies with print-ready solutions that are aligned with the latest ATP changes, enabling efficient compliance with CLP guidelines.
